Blu Flame Horsemanship
Where horses and humans come together
About Blu Flame Horsemanship
Blu Flame Horsemanship was established in September 2024 by Nicole DeBel and Amy Pruner, who wanted to share their passion for horses by building a community that benefits from the mental, physical, and social aspects of equine assisted activities and riding. Named after the two horses that started the program, Blu Flame Horsemanship’s mission is to enrich both participants and employees through professional development, therapeutic horsemanship, and fostering an environment for growth regardless of disabilities or challenges.
Join our Community & Experience the Benefits of Equine Assisted Services
Mental
Horse riding and equine assisted activities have been shown to increase participant confidence, decrease anxiety and stress, and increase the ability to disconnect.
Physical
During a riding or equine assisted learning session, endorphins are released, strength, endurance and flexibility are challenged and developed, and for those who are non-ambulatory, riding stimulates walking.
Social
Working with horses has been shown to encourage appropriate interactions, increase verbal communication, and help teach various forms of effective communication.
